The RAMI AV-200 is a passive dual-band ELT whip antenna designed for 121.5 MHz and 406 MHz emergency locator transmitter installations. It provides a 50-ohm BNC female interface, vertical polarization and an omnidirectional radiation pattern in a 24-inch external whip configuration. RAMI specifies a maximum VSWR of 2.0:1 at 121.5 MHz and 1.5:1 at 406 MHz, with 10 W continuous-wave RF power capability. The antenna is intended for low-speed aircraft up to 250 knots and is approved under TSO-C126a. Because ELT systems are approved with specific antenna configurations, physical and frequency compatibility alone is not sufficient to establish installation eligibility.
