The RAMI AV-300 is a passive tri-band ELT antenna covering 121.5, 243 and 406 MHz. Its fiberglass rod configuration is designed for external installation on general aviation aircraft and uses a BNC female connector with a three-hole mounting footprint. Published electrical data includes 50-ohm nominal impedance, vertical polarization, an omnidirectional radiation pattern and 10 W continuous-wave RF power capacity. RAMI rates the AV-300 for low-speed aircraft up to 350 knots and lists TSO-C126a approval with DO-160G vibration qualification. The current installation instructions show a typical upper-fuselage installation and specify the associated mounting pad, backup plate and hardware.
